    You have made some progress with this poem, Zoe - well done! Can you think of ways Heaney makes nature seem really disturbing in the poem? Examples?

    I think you could write some excellent nature poetry. Your descriptive writing essay was very inventive and you can use some of the skills for a poem - the 5 senses, repetition, alliteration, etc. Can you remember writing the essay?

    You could start with two to three lines and see how you get on....you could post it on your blog.
